This video is beautiful, and I don’t just mean the people. It is a metaphor for the way we are all rescued by the ones we love, often for the same mistakes we make again and again. I love his sheepish grin and her subtly puzzled response.He knows she’s probably thinking “I thought we went over this.” Every relationship has elements of this. Or it could even mean something more serious. It reminds me of the movie Walk The Line, where June fights to save Johnny Cash from his drug addiction.
